Liver Cirrhosis

Cirrhosis of the liver is a chronic condition characterized by the irreversible scarring of the liver tissue. This scarring interferes with the liver’s ability to function properly. 

That’s why Tandem Clinical Research is looking for volunteers with fibrosis for a research study of an investigational medication. To qualify, you must:

• Be 18 to 70 years of age
• Have a diagnosis of cirrhosis 

Early signs may include the following:

• Weight Loss
• Fatigue
• Weakness
• Web-like clusters of blood vessels under your skin
• Nosebleeds
• Itchy Skin
• Yellow skin and eyes
• Loss of appetite
