Type 2 Diabetes and Metformin Study
According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), About 38 million Americans have diabetes (about 1 in 10), and approximately 90-95% of them have type 2 diabetes. Type 2 diabetes most often develops in people over age 45, but more and more young adults are also developing it.
That is why Tandem Clinical Research is looking for volunteers for a new type 2 diabetes research study. To qualify, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a clinical diagnosis type 2 diabetes
- Have been on stable diabetes treatment with metformin ≥1500 mg/day over the past 90 days
